Klipspringer

Klipspringer

Description

Klipspringers are browsers that live on rocky outcrops. Their coat of black speckles on a brown background provide them with excellent camouflage in their rocky habitat.
The female of this species is slightly heavier than the male, but lacks horns. They can be found either in pairs or on their own, and usually join for mating season.

Hunting Klipspringer is a good, challenging hunt and involves a lot of walking and glassing of the rocky outcrops.

Hunting Information

Suitable calibers for hunting Klipspringer are 222-300 Win Mag rifles.
