Description

Giraffe are browsers and the world’s tallest living mammal at a height of approximately 5.9 metres.

The bull and cow differ in their coloration - the bull, when sexually mature, has very dark brown spots whereas the female has light brown spots.

Horns are made of solid bone and carried by both cows and bulls; they are also skin-covered, tufted and thin on the female and thick and bald on top for the male.
