Description

Springbuck are plains antelope.

Both male and female carry horns - the male carrying impressive thick horns with the female having very thin short horns.

Springbuck reach speeds of 80km/h (55mp/h).

Springbuck breed throughout the year with a gestation period of approximately 6 months. Females normally lamb in the summer when there is food for the young due to the summer storms.

Hunting Information

Hunting Springbuck can be tricky due to the vast open plains they live in.

African Field Sports offers Cape, Black, White and Copper Springbuck to hunt. If all four are taken, it’s called "The Grand-Slam".
